| Epiphone: Explorer
The pickups are too near to the strings so slapping is difficult couse it always hits all of them and tends to make a clicking sound.

| Epiphone: Allen Woody Rumblekat
Woody, whom passed on in August 2000, had been an avid enthusiast of vintage Epiphone basses, and this signature design integrates the functions that Woody found best for playing in his intense, rumbling style. It's a semi-hollow, single-cutaway, archtop body like Epiphone's Kat show but without f-holes. The throat is a 30" short scale for simpler play. Mini-humbucking pickups in neck and middle position deliver a warm tone. Gold hardware.
